Back to Court Roadmap
Hello [[firstname]],
I am writing to let you know the current roadmap to get back on court - as defined by England squash in response to the governments latest guidelines.
From 12th April it will be possible to get back on court for SOLO PRACTICE ONLY or games within households. 1:1 coaching sessions are also allowed and Ian is offering a range of evening slots if you would like to take advantage of these. Contact Ian direct at itaylor84@me.com
From 17th May it will be possible to play limited games (not full match play) within a small pool of players (bubbles).
From 21st June it should be possible to get back to full competitive games.
All subject to no further lockdowns etc of course.
If you are planning to play solo games next week, please book online as normal, arrive in your kit ready to play, bring your own water bottle, wipe down the door handles etc once you have finished, and if possible shower when you get home.
I have to say I am slightly concerned that we will all assume we are just as fit as we were a year ago - and either pick up injuries or worse. Please take it steady on your first few games back as you increase your squash fitness. Keep your phone on court in case you need to call someone. There is a public defibrillator attached to the wall of the cricket pavilion opposite the squash club entrance which I hope and pray is not needed any time soon.
