Club Squash & Racketball Championships 2025
Dear Members,
Club Championships 2025 - Update & Reminder:
We have now almost completed the Semi-Finals of the Club Squash & Racketball Championships 2025 and are preparing for the finals evening, presentations and social taking place on Friday 30 May 2025 from 5.20pm.
The Clubhouse bar will be open from 6.00pm and food will be served following presentations.
The outline of the evening is as follows:
5.20pm - Start of first match (court 2).
5.40pm - Start of second match (court 1).
6.00pm - Clubhouse bar opens.
7.00pm - Local reporter from Beverley Life arrives.
8.00pm - Last match (Open Final) concludes.
8.20pm - Presentations (Clubhouse).
8.45pm - Food/Social.
Timings are flexible and matches will be played concurrently on both courts with the Squash Open Final taking place when all other matches have concluded.
Sequence of play for finals matches is as follows:
Court 1
Junior Plate Final (Cooper Moon v Sophia Senior)
Men's Club Championship Plate (Sean Clark v Scott Medlin)
Junior Final (Harriet Langley/Eleanor Everington-Hunt v Freddie Robinson)
Racketball Final (Adam Toes v Dave Harris)
Court 2
Racketball Plate Final (Ian Morrison v Phil Robinson)
Veterans Racketball Final (Joe Rawsthorne v Dave Tongeman)
Men's Club Championship Final (Zac Toes v Ben Flower)
The Club Championships is the main event of the year and the finals evening promises to be exciting with some quality and competitive Squash & Racketball to be played over seven matches (Handicap Final has already concluded and won by Alfie Robinson). We also have some promising juniors on display.
For those not directly involved in the finals please do come along during the evening to spectate and cheer the players on, food will be provided. There is an expectation that all players competing in the Championships Finals will attend the presentations from 8.20pm (approximate time) in the Clubhouse to formally receive their presentation.
